A local adult learning centre is offering an array of online classes so you can challenge your brain and learn something new at home in self-isolation.

It’s not just kids who are doing the learning from home during the COVID-19 crisis. Many are using self-isolation as an opportunity to get fit, upskill or learn something new. Which is where WEA comes in handy.

WEA or the Workers Education Association of South Australia is a local adult learning centre that provides learning opportunities to anyone over the age of 15.

The organisation is currently offering a broad range of online courses so that people can use self-isolation as an opportunity to upskill or learn something new.

Classes are delivered online using Zoom, which is also used as a virtual classroom for when face-to-face classes aren’t possible.

WEA advises that a desktop or laptop computer is best for creating an optimal learning environment, however, classes can also be accessed via the Zoom app for those using a tablet or a smartphone
