Front Yard Festival returns to Middleton this Easter with an all South Australian music line-up

Taking place on Easter Saturday, Front Yard Festival is a family-friendly, boutique event that is sure to be a hit for the whole family.

If you’re a fan of live music, South Australian wine and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Middleton, then the Middleton Winery Front Yard Festival is for you!

Taking place on Easter Saturday, Front Yard Festival is a family-friendly, boutique event that is sure to be a hit for the whole family.

Originating in 2019, organisers Shannon and Kelly Welk had big plans for the event, hoping to make it an annual occurrence and a permanent fixture on the South Australian calendar.

Due to the Covid pandemic plans were put on hold, but now Shannon and Kelly are excited to share with you, once again, the magic that comes from such a get-together.

After purchasing the old Middleton Winery 7 years ago, the couple wanted to use their events background to pay homage to the previous life of the land.

As co-founders of the popular Hot Dub Wine Machine, one of SA’s largest music events showcasing Aussie talent, it’s safe to say Shannon and Kelly know a thing or two about throwing a good shindig and are putting it to good use.

“We put our See It Live grant to good use. This years event is 100% South Australian, the music you hear, the food you eat, the drinks you drink are all South Australian and this is something we are looking forward to sharing with locals and tourists on the South Coast this Easter” they said.

The 2023 revival of the Front Yard Festival will see an all South Australian line-up of musicians including Germain, Dojo Rise, Fleetwood Mac tribute band, The MAC,

Ciaram Granger, Motty Music, Young Sawyer all hosted by Andrew Baldino from All About Her!

Sponsored by the ‘See It Live’ program, the Front Yard Festival is actively supporting local musicians and performers by helping them get back to doing what they love.

Across the day you’ll enjoy locally grown wine from Langhorne Creek Lake Breeze Vineyard as well as a vast selection from the range of Coopers Beers.

And for those worried about getting hungry, never fear! A boutique selection of local food trucks to keep your energy levels up so you can dance well into the night. Vendors Bunny Chow Now, Jorge Maestro, La La Latte Co. and Paulie’s Pizzas as well as several other options provided by the venue will be on offer.

As an extra offering this year, Shannon and Kelly are offering a limited number of affordable camping options, giving groovers the opportunity to camp out under the stars on the property and be able to enjoy that extra glass of Lake Breeze Bernoota without a worry.
