Future Talent, Australia's premier provider of personalised sports cards has launched their brand new website www.futuretalent.com.au and has teamed up with ambassador Aussie Rules star Aaron Edwards to celebrate.
Edwards, an avid collector of sports cards himself, described the site as easy to navigate and said the opportunity for kids to build their very own card and share it via facebook or order as a set of professional sports cards was something he wished had been available when he was a young footballer.
"I love the concept of anyone being able to create their own card," Aaron Edwards said. "When I was a kid I remember collecting the cards of my heroes and dreaming that I would one day be just like them.
The guys at Future Talent have now made this possible, no matter what sport you play or what age you might be you can be just like your hero."
Incorporating state-of-the-art customisation technology, with a user friendly design and clean visual layout, the Future Talent website provides customers with easy to follow prompts and hints on how to build a professional looking sports card.
With a range of over 30 sports and over a hundred different colour combinations, the Future Talent templates ensure individuals can create the sporting card they have always dreamed of.
The entire card creation process takes only minutes, and can be either shared via Facebook for free or ordered and delivered to your door within a week.
"The site incorporates state of the art customisation technology, with an easy to navigate layout, providing hints and guides to make creating a professional looking sports card simple and easy," said Managing Director Heath Evans.
With a strong sporting background, Evans said the concept of personalised sports cards was well overdue, considering that collecting sports cards has long been a tradition amongst young Australians.
"We are living in a sports mad nation, with an exceptionally high number of participants involved in grass roots sports," said Heath Evans. "So why should only professional athletes have the ability to feature in sports cards? What we want to do is provide athletes with the recognition they deserve and inspiration to follow their dreams and we believe the sports cards will provide that motivation."
Future Talent will donate 10% from every order to the sporting club, school or charity of the consumers choice which has been particularly well received amongst local sporting clubs in a time when fundraising is proving particularly difficult.
"For our players, having their own footy card provide them with a great memento that they will hold onto for year to come, but I also love the fact it provides us with a new revenue stream at a time when we need every cent possible," said Mulgrave Senior President Ron Gladman.
