Family-owned gem in Gumeracha, The Peregrine Store, announced the birth of its sister brand, Paddock To Pine this week, venturing into authentic camping workshops and crafting classes.
Beginning with the basics, Paddock To Pine’s first workshop launching next month will see you creating and binding your own leather journals and books. Taking home more than memories, these handcrafted items are yours to keep.
Hosted at the Peregrine Gumeracha store by Jess from Rustic Wren, the first event will be an evening of mentorship and introduction to different leathers. On arrival you will be treated to complimentary wine and a cheese platter to graze. The end product will be customisable leather journals bound together and you’ll finally get to writing about those precious moments so you never forget them.
There’s already plans to expand with more workshops down the pipeline. On the cards is wood carving, bark basket weaving, soapstone carving and free intimate workshops for any DIY kits they have in-store. Even guided bird watching and historical hikes through Gumeracha’s Federation Park are possibly being organised.
The Peregrine Store feels warm like a campfire and this new brand is an extension of that kind hearted rich connection. Paddock To Pine is part of this heritage offering something for families who love camping or anyone wanting to expand their skills for off the grid.
The first Leather Journal Workshop begins on October 28th from 6 – 8PM.
