The Gallery on Waymouth Street has been an Adelaide institution for years now. Since it opened in 2010, it’s been a favourite for after work knock offs, rooftop functions, and enjoying a night out with a view. What’s kept it relevant though, is the fact that they keep changing things up.
While we’ve always loved the cocktails and tapas on level 3 at Gallery, the rooftop has had a makeover, giving us yet another reason to venture out this Winter.
The whole Southern section of Gallery’s rooftop has been changed up to make the most of the view down Waymouth Street, while also giving customers more of a ‘boothy’ feel, while they kick back and enjoy their drinks and shared plates.
The booth seating runs down the middle of the venue now, and there’s a concrete dry bar, which follows the Waymouth Street side of the rooftop, to look down the street.
Given it’s feeling pretty Wintery already outside, the addition of more permanent heaters will keep you toasty, while the retractable roof and blinds will keep the weather out, and you can still enjoy the views.
To say the crew at Gallery are excited about the new winter rooftop offering is an understatement, which is why they’re decided to celebrate by serving up their famous expresso martinis for $10 every day they’re open, from 5pm-8pm.
