Much-loved burger slingers GANG GANG are bringing their quirky eats to Adelaide’s CBD.

The eatery has yet to unveil the new venue’s exact location, but they’ve been teasing the build of their “CITY GANG” location on social media. While the long and narrow space currently appears mid-construction in the photos, design house Divide promises “new & exciting” renovations to come.

Divide has previously worked with Adelaide’s trendiest restaurants and distilleries, such as Never Never, NOLA, Bowden Brewing, Remy’s Deep Dish Pizza, Bottega Bandito, and Plant 3’s CARŌclub. Going off of Divide’s previous designs and the bright yellows and distinctive graphics of the GANG GANG brand, we expect the burger joint’s CBD venue will have a fun, eye-catching fit out.

The CBD location is set to open the end of September.

This development comes after GANG GANG opened a Torrensville location in early July. The Henley Beach Road spot is the brand’s third––if you include their standalone Parkside venue and their yellow food truck, “Trailor Swift.”

At the time of opening, Nina Hadinata and Morgen Wynn, who launched GANG GANG in January 2018, were excited to expand to the other side of the city.

“The West Side is the perfect spot because it compliments our other location, and a lot of our customers are from this side of the city,” Hadinata said.

Soon, GANG GANG will have either side of the city and the city itself covered!

Their mobile eateries, which include their trailer and now-stationary shipping container, have also popped up and delighted areas across the state, such as Rundle Mall and Port Elliot.

GANG GANG is known for its quirky burgers, such as the “Cardi B” chicken burger, the “Spice Girl” Asian-inspired cheese burger, and its “California Love” cheese burger with animal style sauce and pickles. They also have other fun American and Asian-inspired dishes, such as tacos, popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks.

We’ll keep you updated on the venue’s city location, and in the meantime, you can find their epic eats in Torrensville and Parkside.
