Have you ever wanted to run away with the circus? The Garden of Unearthly Delights are gearing up for their 2022 Summer season, and they’re ready to take you on board!
If you’re a passionate and creative Technical Stage Manager, Lighting Technician, or Sound Technician- the Garden wants to hear from you.
The iconic Garden, which is set to celebrate it’s much anticipated 20th Birthday this season, has encouraged prospective Venue Technicians to forward their expression of interest if they meet the criteria for the following roles:
- Stage Manager that can operate both lighting and sound at a basic to a skilled level
- Lighting Technician that is experienced and skilled in set up, focusing, programming and operating of lighting systems, including intelligent lighting
- Sound Technician that is experienced and skilled in the setting up of PA systems, installation and use of both wired and wireless mics, and mixing on analog and digital consoles
While the format, scale, and shape of the Garden’s 2022 season remains very much a work in progress, they are continuing to remain proactive in their search for staff and volunteers who are interested in such a unique opportunity.
While South Australia’s arts industry has suffered a dramatic loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Garden of Unearthly Delights will continue to keep open and flexible dialogue with potential staff, as government directives change over the coming months.
