This January, the beautiful Adelaide location is hosting Gather in the Garden, a three-week event filled with live music, delicious eats, and a truly magical experience on the lush green lawns of the Botanic Gardens. It also includes full access to two of the Gardens’ captivating exhibitions.
Savour delicious bites from food trucks and refreshing drinks from the bar as you listen to the live band. Then, wander through the stunning Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition in the rainforest-filled conservatory to explore jaw-dropping images that capture nature at its most dramatic, beautiful and raw.
You can also admire the Tails from the Coasts exhibition, a captivating collection of 200-year-old watercolour paintings featuring fauna from Singapore and the Malay Peninsula, displayed in the magnificent Museum of Economic Botany in the heart of the Garden.
Fancy a gin-and-tonic with that? Gin-lovers, unite! For an additional fee, you can elevate your garden experience with a Gin Masterclass, courtesy of local distillery Prohibition Liquor Co. This add-on experience will see you sitting comfortably under a wisteria arbour, sipping limited-edition gin from one of Adelaide’s favourite distilleries, and sampling mouth-watering canapés from award-winning Botanic Lodge.
With live entertainment and food trucks a-plenty, there’s something for the whole family, although you must be aged 18 or older to enjoy the masterclass.
