Purchased in late 2019 by owner Geoffrey Yu — whose background includes both construction and running nightlife venues on Hindley and Gouger streets — the fit-out reflects a meticulous commitment to quality. Everything is intentionally crafted, from the solid timber flooring to the lush textures that reference Baz Luhrmann’s take on The Great Gatsby. The result is a space that feels cinematic yet welcoming, with options to perch at the bar, relax at a low marble table, gather around a high shared setting or settle into an intimate booth.
On New Year’s Eve, the venue’s flair for sit-down dining takes centre stage with a special Japanese-inspired Feed Me experience. Guests can indulge in a curated lineup of crowd favourites — Kyoto Corn Ribs, Agadashi Tofu, Karaage Eggplant, Yaki Hotate, Yakitori, Gyoza and more — alongside fresh additions crafted exclusively for the celebration. It’s a menu designed for sharing, savouring and pairing with a festive cocktail or glass of champagne.
Once dinner winds down, the mood shifts seamlessly from restaurant to dance floor as DJ entertainment begins from 9pm, filling the venue with rhythm through to the early hours of 2026.
