The landslide win saw the bill passed with only 4 votes against it, and a massive 154 votes in favour. It follows on from a majority of Australians voting yes in the historic postal survey this November, showing their support for marriage equality. South Australians voted 62.5 percent YES – reflecting the views of the nation. LGBTIQ couples will be able to marry in the new year. Awesome.
