You can now grab a delicious pint of Gelato Messina straight from the freezer aisle at Woolies! Thanks to a new partnership with Woolies, Australia’s beloved gelato maker is now available for you to enjoy at home.
The product line includes six new gelato pint flavours and three ice cream cakes, including Super Vanilla, Dulce de Leche, Pistachio Praline, Hazelnut Praline, Robert Brownie Jr. and Tiramisu. These products incorporate Gelato Messina’s commitment to high-quality, handcrafted desserts with signature ingredients.
In addition to the pints, customers can indulge in three types of frozen ice cream cakes with flavours like Tiramisu, Iced Coco and Choc Malt.
“By launching our first supermarket range, we are making our products more accessible to all Australians, maintaining the high standards of quality and creativity our customers expect,” Founder Nick Palumbo said.
“Partnering with Woolworths allows us to deliver our crafted flavours nationwide without compromising the artisanal quality that defines us. This range has the genuine Messina touch, and we are excited for customers to enjoy our products conveniently from their own homes.”
While all Woolworths stores will stock the Super Vanilla and Pistachio Praline pints, availability of other flavours and cakes will vary based on store size.
Gelato Messina has grown massively since its humble beginnings in a single Darlinghurst store in 2002. Currently, the business operates 31 stores across Australia, the company prides itself on its artisanal approach. All flavours are developed in-house, from scratch, ensuring a unique taste experience. The brand’s strict quality control extends to owning a dairy farm that provides Jersey milk and a hazelnut farm supplying nuts for their hazelnut flavoured products.
