George’s goes Greek for one night only

This weekend, celebrate Greek Independence Day in style with a taste of Greece in the CBD.

COVID has made it incredibly difficult for CBD restaurants to trade, but now for night only, beloved Adelaide restaurant, George’s on Waymouth will bring a taste of Greece right here to the heart of Adelaide.

The night will celebrate a night of Greek hospitality, amazing food, live music and great company.

Greek Independence Day is a celebration of the Greek Revolution of 1821. The day falls on March 25 every year, which also coincides with the Feast of the Annunciation.

The event is a taverna night. The idea of a taverna night is to place customers inside a Greek restaurant for one night to see what could happen.

There is a cancellation Policy, so if COVID problems arise and do require you to isolate, your seat and/or table are fully transferable, but not refundable.
