George’s on Waymouth was established by George & Voula Kasimatis in November 2002. Fast-forward to 2011, and the restaurant continues to be one of Adelaide’s favourites, a testament to George and the rest of the George’s on Waymouth team.

When speaking with George, he evokes his passion for providing not only great food, but also a great experience as a whole for diners at the award-winning restaurant. He states, “Right from the very start, our philosophy was to offer great food at a fair price with impeccable service.” There is also a strong focus on using fresh, local produce. Furthermore, it must be noted that all breads, pastas and deserts are made on premises daily.
A distinctly Mediterranean menu takes advantage of seasonal fare with beautiful delights such as Coorong Angus peppered veal, beetroot remoulade & crisp shallots; Tortellini ‘Gulf of St Vincent’ bugtails, peppered yoghurt, prosciutto, and burnt butter vinaigrette; and Hazelnut parfait, peppered strawberries and almond filo. Beautifully presented food matches the stylish, yet minimalist European setting with crisp linen tablecloths, high ceilings and wooden floorboards.
