After having great success with their Orthodox Easter takeaway dinner packs, George’s on Waymouth is back with new takeaway offerings aptly named George’s To Go.
Indulge in some mouth-watering Greek cuisine at home with an array of delicious Mediterranean food to enjoy in iso, including moussaka arancini, spanakopita, and orzo with prawns.
Craving a huge, lazy Sunday-style roast without the work? You can even order George’s signature lamb press with cauliflower puree, kale, sofrito, and jus — a meal that will feed a family of four.
There are also desserts and an assortment of beers and wines you can order to complement your meal.
George’s menu offerings are expected to change regularly with a new selection of small eats, mains, and sides likely popping up on their social media pages each week.
This week, George’s To Go’s menu includes the following:
- House-made Taramasalata with pita
- Moussaka arancini
- Spanakopita
- Orzo with local prawns, tomato and feta
- Signature lamb press with cauliflower puree, kale, sofrito and jus
- Ancient grain salad with pomegranate
- Potatoes with oregano and feta
- Poached quince ginger crumble with labneh
Orders need to be placed by 3pm between Tuesday and Saturday by phoning 8211 6960 or by emailing @[email protected].
With a $45 minimum spend, orders can be delivered to your door for an additional $5 if you live within a 5km radius of the restaurant or you can arrange a pick up from George’s on Waymouth Street.
Delivery is scheduled between 10am and 1pm, whilst pick up is between 2pm and 4pm every Saturday.
