While we’ve all been debating whether or not trick or treating should go ahead this year (spoiler: SA Health says it’s officially OK), there’s another Halloween event happening that may have snuck under your radar.
The Hydropath Society is putting on a Halloween night wine hike, which, for only $30, offers up a night of spooktacular fun.
Delve into half a dozen devilishly delicious wines at dusk while hiking the beastly Beaumont ridge line into a spooky sunset.
Bring your flashlight for a frightening descent into the vinous underworld. Whether you dress up in costume or not is totally up to you.
The two hour hike, which kicks off at 6pm, is just one of many that the folks over at The Hydropath Society put on, with different locations and themes for each event.
Best of all, you don’t need to be super fit to do this, and it’s only 3.5km.
But what is The Hydropath Society you ask? It’s a new collective for Lovers of Wine that pretends to be neither exclusive or pretentious, but rather, remains loosely bound by a Predilection for Deliciousness, a Sense of Adventure and a Spirit of Community (or so their website says).
Still confused? They’re basically an edgy little wine label, that produces a bunch of great wines, as well as putting on these fantastic wine hikes!
