The free event will celebrate local craft that is that is smart, funny, sarcastic, friendly, cute, rude, arty, curious and happy! The aim is to surprise and delight visitors with every step through the market, and have a good old laugh while doing so.

You will have the opportunity to ‘get crafty’ with a unique line up of workshops including:

Flinders Street Market is hosting this event as part of an exciting and new ‘special event calendar’ where one weekend a month they dedicate a week to a special theme and stalls are curated accordingly. Their last event, the Adelaide Street Food Party was a phenomenal success and was attended by more than 19,000 people!

If you are not familiar with the Flinders Street Market, it is a small community market open every weekend in the heart of the Adelaide, that has been going since 1999. This little market is a bohemian place to find an unusual gift, have a meal or stroll the stalls. It houses an eclectic mix of stalls – from local arts, crafts, food, farm-grown produce, vintage wares to all sorts of clothing.

There will also be a mix of vintage wares, bric-a-brac, face painting, food, drinks and desserts over the two days. The market is set up in the big blue shed on Flinders Street, and is very close to Rundle Street, Hutt Street, North Terrace and Victoria Square.
