The SA screen sector is anticipating a huge jump in Hollywood productions taking place here in our cosy city. This Federal Government is going to push a competitive AUD$140 million Location Incentive Fund that will attract companies to film Australia wide but specifically SA.

Joining SA heavyweights, Rising Sun Pictures, Kojo, Resin will be global production giants Technicolor.

Rising Sun Pictures has worked on films like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Tomb Raider, X-Men and many more. Kojo’s work includes stars such as Zac Efron, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Ethan Hawke and Catherine Zeta-Jones alongside many more. If this is any indication, the celeb sitings are going to rise around Adelaide.

Tony Clark, Managing Director of Visual Effects studio Rising Sun Pictures said that “it represents a powerful draw card to bring production and post-production to the state, creating significant employment and growth opportunities for screen businesses.”

If you’ve dreamed of being an actor or actress or even an extra then the chances are rising. Starting around July and spanning four years, the incentive is going to change the creative field.
