Ever wanted to try your hand at creating your own floral arrangement?
Well, now you can with Laavish Flower Academy’s new virtual floral design class.
Laavish Flower Academy has launched a new DIY flower signage course so you can get in touch with your creative side.
Designed for beginners with no previous floral design experience, participants will learn floral techniques from some of the best floral designers in the business via a series of online tutorials.
In over 100 minutes of video, participants will also learn how to choose and prepare flowers, design the frame and create the perfect signage board for a number of events including weddings, birthdays and engagements.
Those who take part in this course will even get to visit the suppliers and learn how to choose the right products and materials for their custom creation.
The course is taught by local Adelaide florist extraordinaire, Georgie Dion, who has previously worked with 5-star hotels such as Mount Lofty House, Crown Plaza, The Pullman Hotel and The Mayfair.
Georgie is now based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she runs Laavish Flower Studio completely online with a team of talented floral designers.
“They (participants) can be anywhere in the world and learn the art of floristry,” says Georgie, who started Laavish early last year.
“They can move through the course at their own pace with our step-by-step tutorials, completely in the comfort of their own homes.”
If DIY floral board design isn’t your thing, Laavish also has an array of other courses to take on in isolation including a creative bouquet design course and a contemporary floral arrangement course.
