Get Keen For Gin Heaven, The Gincident Is Upon Us

Following last year’s gintastic debut, Gincident will take place on the 14th of December, at the unique Flour Shed, Hart’s Mill in Port Adelaide.

We don’t mean to alarm you, Adelaide, but there’s going to be another Gincident.

You know that incident that’s inevitable when you had a few too many gins?

Well, prepare. On the 14th of December, the rustic Flour Mill Shed in Hart’s Mill, Port Adelaide will be transformed into a gin-filled fantasy.

Gincident is a festival dedicated to the best Australian gins, and with Adelaide known as the Gin State, it’s probably safe to say we know more than a little about said gins.

Following last year’s gintastic debut, and the increasing popularity of all things gin, Gincident is sure to be a hit.

Inside the Flour Shed, the main bar, ‘Ginsational’, will be run by one of Adelaide’s favourite gin dens, The Howling Owl, making gin cocktails with some of the finest Australian Gins.

This year, festival-goers can expect 26 gin stalls all under one roof at the Flour Shed, Port Adelaide.

Some gins featured that spans the state include Archie Rose Distilling Co., Cape Byron Distillery, Happenstance Distillary, LyreBird Gin, Kangaroo Island Spirits, Prohibition Liquor Co. and Seppeltsfield Road Distillery.

Outside there will be a selection of amazing local food vendors, to let you dine with friends by the river.

Gincident will also kickstart the Spirit of Christmas with Christmas special Gin batches.

This event will celebrate Mother Nature’s best work, with a big cheers to plants, botanicals and of course, the Juniper Berry.

Attendees can also expect live music, aerial performers, and Masterclass sessions throughout the day.
