Last week we gave you a little taste of the summer we are missing with their Strawberry Daiquiri and this week we roll out the Collins Margarita.
Here is the magical recipe to make this liquid gold (that we think must come from the end of a rainbow) at home:
50ml gold tequila
10ml lime juice
Dash sugar syrup
Salt rim of a martini glass*
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker
Fill with ice and shake!
Garnish with lime wheel
*Rub rim of glass with lime wedge and dip in salt. Shake off excess.
Now on what may seem like a random tangent, but just stick with us, we have a point (we promise)! The exciting new experience of Restaurant Revolution hits Adelaide this week. The restaurant is open to the public from Tuesday 14th July and will only be taking walk ins. In comes our brilliant idea – why not enjoy some pre dinner drinks OR some “we are waiting for a table” drinks at the super close (like across the road close) Collins Bar?
You can enjoy the goods from their special and very exclusive Martini Month Menu as shaken up by their expert mixologists! This unique offering of cocktails lasts until the end of July and, despite your homemade margarita being all types of amazing, these cocktails will blow your mind. Served with the likes of popping candy, fairy floss or even candied lavender, these cocktails aren’t your average cocktail.
As we sit here sipping our margarita and delighting in the fact that Monday is almost over, we look forward to our third and final instalment of Martini Monday next week, and so should you! We have save the best for last, so don’t miss it!
