We know SA is the best state – heck, we have a whole website dedicated to all the fantastic movers and shakers of South Australia. We also know we have some incredible brewers, and now we can prove we have the best in the country. On 1 September, The Highway is hosting Battle of the Beers which will pit three Aussie brewers against one another in the ultimate beer showdown.
Hosted by venue manager Darren Paech, you will be introduced to the brewers from the Clare Valley Brewing Co representing SA, Mountain Goat Beer representing VIC and Stone & Wood representing NSW who will uppercut, jab and hook their way to the supreme beer victory.
Enjoy the four course dinner with matching beers in their private function room, and get ready to rumble. The ideal gift for Father’s Day, you’ll devour some tasty meals including Roasted Morton Bay Bug Tails with butter induced leeks, beetroot gel and popcorn shoots; Sticky Glazed Pork Belly with spicy Papaya salad and black garlic; Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks with Celeriac puree, spiced charred cauliflower and crispy cavolo nero; and Belgium Chocolate and Stout Panacotta with chocolate brownie, roasted pecans and salted caramel fudge.
Who do you think will take the belt and be crowned the beer champion of Australia? The only way to find out is to head down to The Highway and see for yourselves. At only $95pp, it’s set to be a night to remember.
