Get Set For A Mexican Food And Wine Fiesta! Ole!

If there is one thing that goes with wine, it is a Mexican feast…

If there are two things that we love, they would have to be food and wine. So when Crush Festival comes around you better believe that we get very excited. The epic three day event sees 41 wineries around the stunning Adelaide Hills region come together to show us their best…

With a program chock full of amazing events, we have our eye on a few crackers already. Obviously when we heard that Howard Vineyard were taking us to South America with their Mexican Fiesta, we were all over that!

Get out the sombrero and fake moustache, because they will be the must have items at this event.

Held on the Sunday (24 January) of the Festival, the team over at Howard Vineyard are working together with local catering company, Kitchen and Catering by Sam, to ensure that the food is nothing short of delicious. And it will be. How do we know? Well Sam Worrall-Thompson just happens to also be the Head Chef of Jack Ruby. See people, the proof is in the pudding. Or in this case, the burrito.

Sam said guests were sure to enjoy this Sunday afternoon amongst the vineyards.

“We’ve worked with Howard Vineyard before, just recently with Father’s Day, and it was an absolute ball. The beautiful venue lends itself to these outdoor events and Crush Festival has always been popular.”

“We’re very excited to get some churros cookings, burgers and more to help people feast Mexican style while they enjoy the sun and their drinks.”

The day begins at Jack Ruby where you will indulge in a breakfast burger (totally necessary) before jumping on board one of the party busses to Sidewood Winery followed by Howard Vineyard. A wine on arrival will really get the fiesta started!

After all the Crush fun a bus will then transport you back to Jack Ruby by 5:30pm where the evening will continue with food and a special DJ for the night.

Bring on the churros and much wine! Find out more here.
