As a part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide, The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters and Norwood Place will proudly host the popular Norwood Place Parades on Norwood Parade event. All the fashion fun will be happening on Sunday 25 October 2015 from 11.00am – 5.00pm.
In its most illustrious year to date, the unique and popular Norwood Place Parades on Norwood Parade returns to The Parade, offering an exciting day-long affair with enjoyment for all ages including three fashion parades showcasing the latest in-season trends from Parade retailers, a catwalk-side High Tea, the Norwood Fashion & Design Market featuring over 100 stalls, live music performances by the Germein Sisters and family entertainment.
Norwood Place Parades on Norwood Parade has been a major highlight on the annual Adelaide Fashion Festival program since 2008 and is held to showcase The Parade, Norwood as Adelaide’s premier fashion and retail shopping precinct, as well as offering a fantastic community event for all to enjoy.
City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Mayor, Robert Bria, said he was excited that this event has remained a firm fixture on the Adelaide Fashion Festival Program, following the Council’s transfer of ownership of the Adelaide Fashion Festival to Events SA, in February this year.
“Retaining the right to continue to host this fantastic event as part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival, was a key consideration for the Council in its decision to transfer ownership of the Festival to the State Government.”
“This year promises more fashion, entertainment and enjoyment than ever before, with the primary focus on attracting people of all ages to The Parade and showcasing just how much The Parade has on offer for the local and wider community,” he said.
Norwood Place Parades on Norwood Parade will be held on The Parade, Norwood between Queen Street and Edward Street, on Sunday 25 October from 11.00am to 5.00pm.
High Tea tickets are $50 and available online.
