The ultimate outdoor roller-skating disco is taking over the grounds of the University of Adelaide thanks to the Adelaide University Union. Roller-Palooza 2019 is a three day skating jam that brings a custom built outdoor skating rink to campus along with live DJs, skates for hire and a rotating party themed atmosphere designed to get the roller-party started!
Patrons will have plenty of time to display their skills on wheels with sessions running for one and a half hours, allowing ample opportunity to perfect that pirouette. Union Members will have the option of accessing pre-sale tickets on Monday 2 September before general sale tickets become available on Wednesday 4 September.
Tickets are only $5 for Union Members, $8 for non-Union students and $12 for general admission outside of the student body. Anyone wishing to join the Union before the event are able to do so through the Union website.
Each session will have its own theme with prizes for those who impress by rocking the best outfits, so stay tuned to AUU social media before finalising your look and strutting your stuff on the rink. If multiple session take your fancy then skaters are more than welcome to come book into them all. There will also be an on-rink photo booth for candid photos and glitter stations to add some sparkle to the event.
Roller-Palooza is the latest in a long line of student-experience focused activities put on by the Union in 2019. Becoming a member of the AUU is the perfect way to Get More out of university life and a fantastic way to forge new friendships while taking part in all new experiences.

3:00pm – 4:30pm – 90’s RnB themed party
4:30pm – 6:00pm – Noughties themed party
6:00pm – 7:30pm – Disco themed party
7:30pm – 9:00pm – UV party
