Get your skates on these school holidays at Bay City Rolling, Glenelg

Bay City Rolling is a new roller-skating event coming to Glenelg for the October school holidays.

While we’ve all missed the fabulous ice-skating we’ve come to love each Winter in Glenelg, we’re all quite aware that the last few months haven’t been business as usual.

So when we discovered that the fantastic team in Glenelg are putting on another sensational event, now that restrictions are easing, we were over the moon.

Bay City Rolling is a new roller-skating event coming to Glenelg for the October school holidays.

Held in Moseley Square under an opened marquee, strap your skates and roller-skate while you enjoy views of the beach.

Bay City Rolling promises to be a fun and affordable family experience for all ages, with three weekends of roller-disco fun in the evenings.

Daily Session times

  • 9.30 am-10.15 am
  • 10.45 am -11.30 am
  • 12.00 pm-12.45 am
  • 1.15 pm – 2.00 pm
  • 2.30 pm – 3.15 pm
  • 3.45 pm – 4.30 pm
  • 5.00 pm – 5.45 pm
  • 6.15 pm – 7.00 pm
  • 7.30 pm – 8.15 pm (Fridays and Saturdays are Roller Disco sessions)

Roller Disco – Fridays and Saturdays only

  • 7.30 pm – 8.15 pm
  • 8.45 pm – 9.45 pm

Cost:

  • Adults $15 | Child (under 15) $10
  • Family pass (2 adults 2 children/ or 1 adult 3 children) $40
  • Roller Disco $20pp

There will be a maximum number of 150 skaters per session to ensure there’s lots of space to physically distance.

Ticket prices automatically include skate hire. People are welcome to bring their own skates if they have them but the ticket price remains the same.
