Considering it has established itself as one of the leading Fringe venues in last few years, it only seemed right that The Arkaba Hotel stepped it up another level this year… Enter, their very own ‘Candy Bar’, for your entertainment…
With its pink and white theme, the Candy Bar is the Arkaba’s fun and vibrant pre/post Fringe show hang out. But you might just want to be there all of the time.
Some of Adelaide’s coolest DJs will be keeping the tunes coming as they play funk, soul and groove from 9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Featuring DJ Smiley (Kumfy Klub), DJ Dave Collins from Fresh 92.7 and DJ Bos playing the saxophone while he DJs (because, why not?).
Plus if you get out your Fringe Dollars (while this year’s season lasts) you can exchange them for a complimentary glass of Candy Bar Fizz. A.K.A bubbles blended with a fresh strawberry and basil mix. Delish!
And then there are the actual Fringe shows… From Frenchy, Alex Williamson, Wild Wogs, Neil Kolhatkar, Boogie On Down To Soul Train, Swing, Encore – Songs of Stage and Screen, That’s Amore, The David Bowie Tribute Show with Adelaide’s favourite party bands Clearway and The Incredible’s and Wayne Donnelly’s Comedy Hypnosis, you basically have every reason to get your bum there and enjoy some Fringe fun!
