A stunning and unique destination, Earthship Ironbank offers guests a gorgeous stay with a tiny eco-footprint.

Earthship Ironbank is a passive solar earth shelter that’s made of both natural and upcycled materials including as earth-packed tires.

Close to Adelaide Hills wineries, a golf course, bush-walks and other tourist attractions, Earthship Ironbank is a place where you can experience the future of sustainable housing.

The greenhouse gives you a wonderful outlook from the main living area, which also features a queen sized bed, and kitchen with a double gas burner, under bench fridge (with tiny freezer compartment), microwave and wood oven/stove ideal for making pizzas (although not recommended for use during summer months).

Delicious vegetarian breakfast ingredients are included as part of your stay, including free range eggs and honey from the property, supplied (but not prepared/served).

There’s also a great combustion fireplace to keep you toasting in the winter, and firewood is supplied.

You can book to stay at Earthship Ironbank BnB for $150 a night. Check availability here.

Just interested in checking it out? They also hold open days, so you can learn about how you learn more about sustainaobut housing.

The next open day is Sustainable House Day on September 15th 2019 from 10am-4pm.
