Getaway: Enjoy Robe With An Open Fire, Freestanding Bath & King Size Bed

When a homewares shop opens its own accommodation business, the results are stunning places to stay – like Trader Jack’s in Robe.

Robe has always been a coveted destination, year-round, where holiday-seekers travel for a relaxing getaway, while still enjoying some of life’s luxuries.

Located about three and a half hours from Adelaide, the beautiful seaside town on the Limestone Coast offers up stunning scenery, great little cafes, and gorgeous boutiques.

One of the best retail therapy options in town, is Holiday, which stocks a range of fashion, jewellery, body products, furniture, unique gifts and homewares. They also stock a range of their own labels including Holiday, Talisman, True North, Senorita, Shanta Corporation and Brave & True.

The Shanty Co

So when the team behind Holiday set up their own accommodation business called Robe Lifestyle Properties, it meant that guests were in for a treat.

Trader Jack’s is one of their properties, and was established around 5 years ago. In true Holiday style, it looks like its straight out of a lifestyle magazine.

With a plush King sized bed and a freestanding bath, this well appointed, cleverly decorated space is the perfect place to base your Robe visit from. It’s right around the corner from the main street, and is an easy 5 minute walk to Holiday, where of course, you’ll want to shop. It’s also close to cafes, restaurants and the beaches.

Set in a private coastal garden, Trader Jack’s is in a quiet location, which is great for those just wanting to unwind. There’s a giant TV in the rustic accommodation, along with an open fire to keep you toasty in Winter. Don’t forget to bring your slippers though, as the concrete floors can get a little chilly on your feet.

An ideal romantic getaway for a couple, Jack’s also offers up a sunny garden with its own hammock and BBQ.

Want to eat out? Try Drift Cafe for breakfast or coffee, Pizza Project for some great pizza, or for something a little more fancy, give Sails a go.

From $107.16 a night, Trader Jack’s is the perfect place to stay in, or go out and enjoy one of the Limestone Coast’s most talked about towns.
