Getaway: Kings Beach Retreats Set New Benchmark For Luxury

Exclusive beachside accommodation on spectacular Kings Head, South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula.

Nestled on the Kings Head headland on South Australia’s spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula are three amazing retreats, which integrate with the coastline, and make the most of the incredible views.

Kings Beach Retreats offers three totally private and spectacular wilderness retreats, each with their own all-weather conservatory and unforgettable ocean and coastal views.

A dramatic fusion of raw nature and timeless architecture, the location and design of Kings Beach Retreats will take your breath away.

The Retreats are just south of Encounter Bay, making it a convenient drive to local wineries, restaurants, farmers markets, boutique gin distilleries and other attractions of the beautiful and abundant Fleurieu Peninsula.

Headland House is one for your bucket list, offering pure luxury. It’s perfectly suited for extended family reunions, special celebrations with friends and corporate or health retreats. It sleeps up to 14 people.

Sea and Sand Retreats are ideal for couples or smaller families.

Offering spectacular beachside accommodation, Headland House has been designed with natural materials including local rammed earth and huge recycled jetty beams. Stepped internal levels take full advantage of magical views in all directions.

This warm and welcoming house has a large living area with a unique cushioned day-bed (which comfortably seats ten people), wood fire and dining space with an antique French oak table.

The open kitchen, with its two ovens and adjacent pantry, is designed to make catering for large groups a breeze.

Each of the five bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and expansive windows. The large all-weather conservatory comfortably accommodates all house guests and, with its built-in window seats, provides a sublime indoor/outdoor experience and rapidly transports visitors into holiday mode by connecting them with the surrounding nature!

Headland House comfortably sleeps 10 but can sleep up to 14 people if necessary. The design and aesthetics of the house make it ideal for family gatherings, special occasions (such as birthdays and anniversaries), corporate and health retreats, yoga weekends and weddings (a marquee in the main courtyard can accommodate up to 150 people).

A three night minimum stay applies (a surcharge of $250 applies for two night stays).
