Gibson Wines Take You Behind The Scenes In An Exclusive Barossa Vintage Festival Experience

A unique and exclusive experience filled with wine, wood fire pizza and rich history.

A unique and exclusive experience filled with wine, wood fire pizza and rich history, is right at your doorstep. Tomorrow, Thursday 20 April, experience Gibson Wines like you never have before at their Feel the “Years of Toil” event. With only four tickets left available, it’s sure to be an event you don’t want to miss.

Opening the doors to their antique vines at this year’s Barossa Vintage Festival, you’ll inspect the the Gibson Wine vines that Barossa settlers planted in 1912 and enjoy an exclusive barrel tasting of the new vintage 2016 Australian Old Vine Collection Barossa Shiraz made from this vineyard. You’ll also be treated to an exclusive table inside the 1850’s ‘Mud Room’ with Rob Gibson. Hear about the rich history of the building and those who came on the ship to build it, with narration about Anna Kowald, who came from Hamburg to Adelaide in 1841.

The wines they’ve chosen to present, one from 2016 and one from 2006, were chosen as they wanted to show the aging of the wines and something that reflects the most recent expression of Old Vines Shiraz. The experience of tasting the wine from this year’s vintage event in such a raw state is truly unique. With music created by a band who works at Gibson Wines, the ambience will reflect the feeling of the people who arrived here over 100 years ago.

This is a must-hit event, and with limited spaces left, you’ll be disappointed if you don’t jump on the remaining tickets. We thought it would have been a crime not to share.
