Gigantic, Legendary Wine Sale Returns To The Barossa But For One Day Only

The version of the Black Friday sale more so befitting Aussies (ie. less focused on TVs and more on WINE), returns.

The Cellarmasters Wine Warehouse Sale is back and it is fully stocked with amazing wines at up to 70% off RRP.

The version of the Black Friday sale more so befitting Aussies (ie. less focused on TVs and more on WINE), is speeding back to the Barossa.

The sale is taking place on Saturday October 19, and will feature over 250 different wine brands and thousands of heavily discounted bottles.

A fantastic chance for consumers to enjoy some amazing bargains ahead of the busy Christmas period and stock up their cellars at a significant discount.

“This huge vintage clearance is the biggest in the Barossa, and is a great opportunity for wine lovers to stock up on good quality wines, especially considering the festive season is just a couple of months away, ” said Christine Ricketts, Cellar Director and Wine Educator at Cellarmasters.

When it comes to what wines to buy, Christine recommends choosing your wines well.

“The two you should pay most attention to is vintage, which means the year the grapes in the wine have been harvested, and the wine variety as well as regionality. Based on those factors, you should be able to tell if it’s a wine that ages well, or if you should drink it now,” she added.

If cellared well, a good quality Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Riesling or Chardonnay can last you many, many years, and may not just improve in taste, but get more valuable over time.

“A sale is also a great time to discover wines you’ve never tried before. Mediterranean styles like Tempranillo, Nero d’Avola and Sangiovese are very popular at the moment, and they’re great food wines, so make sure to try them if the price is right. If you want to surprise and delight yourself, get a mixed wine case,” Christine added.

Gates open at 9 am sharp, and Cellarmasters employees will be onsite to help consumers find that perfect bargain, with many notable wine brands available at extremely attractive price points.
