Are you a lover of all things gin who is looking to support local distillers at this time? Well, you’re in luck because the founders of The Gin Birds, Chamaine Lovett and Suzan Temizer, are hosting free virtual gin gatherings via Zoom.
Guests will not only be connected with fellow gin connoisseurs but will have the chance to mingle with talented Australian distillers, including several that are based right here in Adelaide. It is also strongly encouraged that guests indulge in their favourite tipple (preferably G&T) on the night.
The first session kicked off last Thursday with Adelaide distilling trio, Threefold Distilling, featuring as the guest distiller. The trio shared their story with a group of eager gin-lovers, who were then taught how to whip up three delightful gin-oriented cocktails in a surprise master-class.
The next virtual gin gathering will take place on Friday 1 May with guest distiller, Dave Pearse from 5NINES, who has hinted that he will be sharing a new release with guests on the night. The Gin Birds will be offering discounts and free deliveries for all guests who attend the session.
The Gin Birds are also excited to announce the imminent launch of their online gin megastore, the Gindex, which will match customers with the perfect local gin based on their selected preferences.
