Gingzilla Returns To Gluttony With Glamonster VS The World

The 7ft tall bearded bombshell, GINGZILLA is back! Her show won her a Best Cabaret Weekly Award and the overall John Chataway Innovation Award, and if you had the chance to check her out you’ll know why!

The 7ft tall bearded bombshell, Gingzilla is back! Last year we saw the debut of the tremendously talented Gingzilla in Australia at The Adelaide Fringe Festival where she defied all expectations with her killer vocals and glamorous cabaret performance. Her show won her a Best Cabaret Weekly Award and the overall John Chataway Innovation Award, and if you had the chance to check her out you’ll know why!

Created in the clubs of London, and with a little help from clown training at Gaulier in Paris – ‘GINGZILLA: Glamonster VS The World’ is back at Gluttony to terrorise and titillate!

Playing with the idea of 50s & 60s horror B-movies like Attack of the 50ft Woman and Godzilla, Gingzilla is set to tear up the stage as she discovers her super-woman-powers, throws off conformity, and becomes the glamorous ginger monster she truly is.

An action-packed night of roof raising vocals (she can sing), sultry-cum-scary burlesque and lip-syncing for her life. Using a hilarious melange of audio, original 50s clips and even an SNL skit, this theatre-meets-cabaret-meets-drag show defies expectations and will leave the audience cackling with joy.

Since her debut down under in 2017 she’s had a huge year starring in two Edinburgh Fringe shows to mass audiences. All this plus her highly successful international tour with acclaimed musicals put her on our list of must-see acts at this year’s Fringe.
