Glam Chat: Interview With Christian Hull

Before taking on his duties on Saturday night as Ringmaster of the opening party, aptly titled Carnival, Christian Hull stopped by the Glam Adelaide office for a chat.

Viral internet superstar, Christian Hull has had the honour of being appointed at one of the Feast Festival ambassadors.

Before taking on his duties on Saturday night as Ringmaster of the opening party, aptly titled Carnival, he stopped by the Glam Adelaide office for a chat.

“It’s a very important festival to have, to spruik, to be a part of, especially for the arts, culture, not just the queer arts culture, but arts in general.”

Riotously hilarious and simply unable to keep things PG, Christian tells us about putting the ass in ambassador and sharing the spotlight with the world’s favourite gay couple, the flamingos who act as the third ambassadors.

“It’s a smorgasboard of the most amazing entertainment, you’ve got crochet with a gay hooker, a group of guys who dress up as nuns for a show called Nunsense A-men.”

Outside of his ambassador duties, Christian is well known for his live shows and his podcast, Complete Drivel.

“Um, I just record into my phone when I’m on the toilet,” Christian says when I ask for podcasting advice.

We compare the things that excite us as adults, a laundry for Christian and the extremely high goal of owning a dish washer for myself.

Your host this episode is Neely Karimi.

Feast Festival launches this Saturday November 9 ’til November 24. The opening party, Carnival will take place this Saturday at 7pm, tickets are only $10, to grab yours head to https://www.feast.org.au/.
