Glamorous Glamorazzi

Review by Alexandra Ireland

As soon as I walked through the china town arches in the heart of Adelaide I could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air! What better way to showcase the multicultural talent involved in this parade than to launch the  Glamorazzi’s Summer and Autumn 2011 collections as a part of the ‘Year of the Rabbit Lunar Street Party.’

With every seat in the house taken, there were crowds packing around the marquee ready and keen to get a glimpse at the glamorous Glamorazzi parade to come!

With slick and sophisticated hair and make up the 13 gorgeous models were lined up and dressed to impress, ready to go! Representing the different cultures of Australia, China, Italy, India, Fiji, Germany, Lebanon, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnan, this unique group showcased several fantastic looks from the Glamorazzi Summer and Autumn Fashion collections.

After a quick welcome, the show was on the road! The runway was positioned through the audience which allowed us to get up close to the models and really check out the variety of summer and autumn designs on show.

The Summer 2011 range was full of fresh new colours and designs! Filled with Khakis, pastel pinks and deep purples the collection was all pulled together with the classic blacks, greys and whites, often teamed up with fun and interesting prints. With a combination of flirty casual looks and sexy evening/party outfits, each outfit was filled with flattering silhouettes and a great complimentary colour palette.

The Autumn 2011 collection was fresh and modern. With a variety of deep violets, blues, black and greys, each outfit had a real sophistication and made me want the colder weather to come even faster! Each look could easily be dressed up or down, from a classy day outfit to the office and even to an evening out!

Both collections had an overall flirty and feminine feel that would suit a variety of women. Each look was on trend and extremely practical to the everyday woman.

What a great launch, filled with great fashion shown by a gorgeous group of multicultural models!
