Served on two slices of toast with a very generous serve of avocado, topped with dukkah and lemon. Always bustling with customers, Argo’s are a go to spot for a lot of people in Adelaide. You’ll undoubtedly get some Insta-worthy photos of your brekkie.  If their extensive menu and cake fridge wasn’t enough, the avocado toast definitely is. Served on organic rye toast with lemon, mint, basil, feta, Egyptian dukkah and cherry tomatoes. They also offer a vegan version with crispy kale and crispy enoki mushrooms.

Biga200 Hutt Street, Adelaide

 Biga have an array of appetising brekkies ranging from light bites, to decadent smoothie bowls and egg-based dishes. Their seasonal smashed avocado is served on toasted rye with goats cheese, dukkah, cucumber, radish and beetroot puree. It’s pretty perfect, if you ask us.

Caffiend Coffee Company1/76 Mt Barker Rd, Hahndorf

Tucked away from the Hahndorf mainstreet, Caffiend Coffee Company invites you in with their smart black and white shop front and bright plants. Apart from in house roasted coffee beans, Caffiend create a delicious avocado breakfast. Dark rye served with smashed avo, charred asparagus, almonds and chilli. Definitely not your classic avo toast, but definitely delicious.

There is something for everyone here. Apart from great coffee, Coffylosophy understand the need for a brilliant avo toast and they bring it to you with dukkah (already an amazing combo), snow-pea tendrils, two poached eggs, sumac and lime on dark rye.
