Glass-enclosed restaurant ‘Spheres’ to pop-up in Rundle Mall, featuring 3-days of events with top chefs

Adelaide is set to welcome an exquisite three-day culinary event at Rundle Mall this November, featuring renowned chefs and unique dining experiences from around the world, paired with fine wines and live entertainment.

This November, Adelaide’s Rundle Mall will become a hub for culinary excellence as “Spheres” restaurant hosts “NeverEnding Experiences,” a three-day event showcasing the talents of seven renowned chefs. From November 15th to 17th, an immersive program of bespoke dining experiences, masterclasses, and culinary collaborations will take place, celebrating the best of Japanese, Italian, Spanish cuisines and more.

“NeverEnding Experiences” is founded on the principle that dining is an art form, an occasion to create lasting memories. Each event takes place in the purpose-built, glass enclosed restaurant, featuing long-table dining, bespoke menus, canapés, perfectly matched wines, live entertainment, and engaging insights from the chefs.

The event kicks off on Friday evening with Chef Adam Liston of Shobosho, who will present a captivating fusion feast of Japanese BBQ, highlighting his mastery of yakitori.

Saturday afternoon offers a sophisticated indulgence for those with a penchant for sweets. Melbourne’s queen of desserts, pastry chef Jess Lemon, will curate an exquisite afternoon tea, complemented by the innovative creations of Adelaide’s ‘Willy Wonka of Greek desserts’, Zak Antoniou.

As Saturday evening unfolds, the atmosphere shifts to Italy. Shane Wilson of Anchovy Bandit will join forces with Melbourne’s pasta virtuoso, Andreas Papadakis, to present a five-course pasta degustation, each course artfully paired with premium South Australian wines.

And for the finale, get ready for an extraordinary 12-course journey into the age-old artistry of Japanese sushi and sake with contemporary interpretations that will excite and transcend expectations.

In addition to the ticketed events, Shane Wilson will offer a curated à la carte lunch menu, showcasing signature dishes from Bottega Bandito, Anchovy Bandit, and Bandit Pizza and Wine. A public bar will also keep guests refreshed from 12pm – 9pm serving spirits, cocktails, beers and soft drinks.

Emily Atieno, the visionary behind “NeverEnding Experiences,” seeks to curate unforgetable dining events across Australia. “Our aim is to create unique, immersive experiences,” she explains, “showcasing the talents of leading Australian chefs in exceptional locations.”

With 2 sold-out events already under their belts, an ambitious November program in place and a growing audience eager to know where to next, the team is busy prepping their 2025 long-table dining series calendar.
