Glenelg’s Marina Pier will transform into a foodie’s heaven with new Sip, Graze & Sea Festival

The two-day festival will be held along Glenelg’s Marina Pier showcasing all of the amazing eateries along the strip with loads of entertainment.

There’s something so wholesome about being by the sea when the temperature drops. Feeling the crisp, salty air brush past your face provides the feeling of refreshment and brings a welcome breath of life back into you after many nights (and days) rugged up, hiding from the elements.

Add to that some mulled wine, live music and great food and you’ll be wondering why you didn’t get down to Glenelg’s Marina Pier sooner.

A hot spot in the summer months, you may be under the impression that the seaside strip slows down once the seasons change but in reality, things are actually starting to heat up.

From the beginning of June through until September, the installation of Marina Pier’s dreamy umbrella lights casts a whimsical light over the precinct adding a special touch to your dinner or drinks experience.

But it’s the addition of a new two-day festival that is really going to entice you out of your winter comfies and down to The Bay.

Sip, Graze & Sea Festival is a collaboration of all the delicious eateries along Marina Pier as they come together so you can enjoy the best of what the waterfront dining destination has to offer. I’m talking hot cheese fondue, fresh oysters and even a pop-up gnocchi bar all in a festival-style setup for you to wander through at your leisure.

In addition to the incredible food, there will of course be an array of beverages to help you wash it down (and warm up). Mulled wine will keep you toasty as you stroll the length of the pier in between wine tastings but if wine isn’t your drink of choice, take yourself for a walk down the Brew Boardwalk and get acquainted with some of the best beers from local brewers.

Roving performances will keep you and the kids entertained with live music from some of Adelaide’s finest musicians on show to soundtrack your day. Some outdoor heating will be in place to ensure you’re as comfortable as ever so there will be no need to eat and run – grab a seat and set up to enjoy the show.

Sip, Graze & Sea Festival is free to enter and there is no need to book, simply arrive with your stretchy pants on and prepare to indulge in a stunning seaside setting.

Sip, Graze & Sea Festival will take place at Marina Pier, Glenelg on:

Saturday 16th July, 2pm – 5pm

Sunday 17th July, 2pm – 5pm
