Gluttony heads to the coast with Glenelg Winter Arts Festival this July

Over the two weeks of July’s school holidays, one of Glenelg’s premier reserves will be abuzz with ticketed shows, fun workshops, and undercover spaces in which to eat, drink and gather with friends and family.

One of Adelaide Fringe’s major, bustling hubs is heading out of the city and hitting the Bay this July.

In collaboration with Jetty Road and the City of Holdfast Bay, Gluttony is presenting a brand-new festival: Glenelg Winter Arts Festival.

Over the two weeks of July’s school holidays, one of Glenelg’s premier reserves will be abuzz with ticketed shows, fun workshops, and undercover spaces in which to eat, drink and gather with friends and family.

The artist lineup features a selection of Fringe favourites, including fresh new productions, bringing high quality shows to the coast.

Rove McManus and Nazeem Hussain will bring lead a packed comedy lineup; Chloe Castledine and ‘The Cast’ bring endless bangers from the early 2000’s in Noughtie Girl!; and The 60 Four will have you up and dancing to The Beatles, The Bee Gees, Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys with their popular 60s tribute act.

There will also be a number of circus and magic shows that are suitable for the whole family. It’s set to be a true family affair. And it’ll be there for the whole of the school holidays.

‘Circus The Show’ will have you ogling at world-class illusions, tumbling acrobats, highly skilled jugglers, breath-taking and elegant aerialists, and an endearing clown with his GIGANTIC 6ft balloon; whilst the Tiny Beats Dance Party will have your little ones up grooving on the d-floor with glow sticks in hand.

Things heat up after dark at Glenelg Winter Arts Festival with Inferno and Red District, both for adults only, plus a six-night run of Peek, a brand-new circus cabaret from the creator of Rouge and Shake It.
