South Australian creation, Gluttony, is celebrating its local achievement by going on tour to Melbourne after huge success in Adelaide.

After more than a decade as an Adelaide Fringe hub, Gluttony is touring Melbourne this April from 6 – 10 April.

This is a testament to the Adelaide-based business that has been creating excitement across Mad March during the Fringe season.

Gluttony become an Adelaide Fringe hub in 2011, housing three small performance spaces, but still struggled until halfway through the decade to compete.

However, after 11 years, the institution is taking off, touring to bring some Mad March magic to Melbourne.

The Victorian premiere of Gluttony on Tour will see 11 shows presented in a big top tent in Croydon Park, alongside local food vendors and bars.

Victorians visiting Gluttony can expect a range of shows that include circus acts, comedy performances and a range of eccentric shows that celebrate the arts.

The line up includes:

  • Rebel – the David Bowie rock circus tribute
  • Shake It
  • Comedy Hypnotist Matt Hale: Absolute Chaos
  • Ladies’ Night (Paulini, Prinnie Stevens, Fasika)
  • Riot City Wrestling
  • Petit Circus: Bon Appetit
  • The Defiant

Almost all of these acts have performed at Gluttony’s Adelaide Fringe hub – some many times over! – and so are known and loved by Gluttony audiences. Gluttony is delighted to welcome Opulence and Fasika from Ladies’ Night, to a Gluttony stage.

Fresh from presenting a program of more than 130 shows during the 2022 Adelaide Fringe, Gluttony is delighted to be partnering with Maroondah City Council to present a program of diverse and talented acts outside South Australia for the first time.

So if you’re in Victoria now, or you have family and friends who are, spread the word that Gluttony is going on tour!

The location of Croydon Park is: 213 – 215 Mt Dandenong Road, Croydon, 3136.
