Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away, Adelaide, and while she’ll probably be happy with just anything it doesn’t mean just anything is the right call. Take her out for an indulgent high tea or an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch. We’ve got news about two great packages.
The Stamford Plaza, one of Adelaide’s most popular CBD Hotels is hosting two events for Mother’s Day.
A high tea with a menu celebrating the best of local produce from the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley regions. Think hand-crafted macaroons, scones, lemon meringue tarts, the time-honoured Curry Puff and mini truffled porcini mushroom vol au vents.
Adults are also greeted with a glass of sparkling on arrival, and kids will receive a delicious hot chocolate. There’ll also be entertainment in the form of live acoustic duo, Nick and Tash.
The full menu and tickets can be accessed here.
If mum is more of a full meal type of gal then keep in mind you can opt for La Boca Bar & Grill’s Argentinean buffet lunch.
Designed by Head Chef Nicolas Arriola, this dining experience features some of South Australia’s finest produce cooked on La Boca’s famous Asador, as well as a glass of sparkling on arrival for mum.
Favourite Argentinean dishes are all going to be present. From seafood to Asador wood-fried meats, and a selection of scrumptious desserts. Grab your tickets here.
These events are appropriate for both small and large groups, so either go with mother dearest for a cosy experience or grab the entire family for a huge group feed.
You can find the Stamford Plaza Hotel and La Boca Bar & Grill at 150 North Terrace, Adelaide, SA 5000.
