Golden Gaytime is set to release a special edition Froot Loops bar, and it sounds delicious.
The company confirmed to us that the new special is “coming soon” to Australian supermarkets such as Woolworth’s, and some Aussie dessert enthusiasts are claiming to already have tried the ice cream treat.
Dessert food influencer Nick Vavitis posted to his 107,000 followers that the Golden Gaytime and Froot Loops collaboration was a “14/10.”
“Ok this blew me AWAY,” he says of the bar.
The upcoming dessert appears to have colourful yellow and green ice cream inside of a crunchy, rainbow shell. Vavitis, who is “SO GLAD WE ARE GETTING CEREAL MILK FLAVOURED STUFF,” also described the flavour, saying that customers can expect a realistic cereal experience––all packed into an ice cream snack.
“The Gaytime actually tasted like cereal milk like EXACTLY,” he shares.
“It wasn’t overly sweet either, and it worked so well.”
This most recent cereal collaboration comes after Golden Gaytime and Cocopops teamed up for Cocopops Ice Cream and Golden Gaytime cereal. At the time, Streets Ice Cream, Golden Gaytime’s parent company, said they were “so excited” to team up with Kellogg’s, Cocopops’ parent company, so it’s not a huge surprise that they’ve decided to collaborate again––but this time with a different Kellogg’s company: Froot Loops.
