Golden North release their first plant-based ice cream

Golden North has launched their first plant-based range of ice-cream, on SA supermarket shelves now!

With an ever-growing need for dairy-free and plant-based options to accommodate the evolving needs of customers, Golden North has released their new alternative ice cream offering, ‘Simply Better’.

This new product from the South Australian ice cream company provides a plant-based option, that has hit SA supermarkets just in time for summer.

Following years in the making, ‘Simply Better’ range is not only dairy and lactose free, but is also nut, gluten and palm oil free, so the whole family can enjoy the delicious flavours of Golden North.

Made with an organic coconut cream, rather than their traditional dairy ingredients, each tub is carefully crafted in the states mid-north town of Laura.

Delectably smooth and creamy, this new offering comes in two delicious flavours – vanilla bean & coconut and indulgent chocolate sundae, that features a decadent chocolate ripple throughout.

With almost 100-years in ice cream production, Golden North is a completely SA-made and owned company, producing ice cream with only the highest level of quality ingredients, becoming a local icon with their delicious selection of treats.

Listening to many loyal fans over the year express their desire for a dairy free ice cream, Golden North has spent years perfecting the flavour profile of their all new Simply Better range.

National Marketing Manager, Trevor Pomery, says ‘we want everyone to be able to enjoy a delicious Golden North moment, including those with dietary intolerances. That’s why all of our ice creams are nut free, gluten free, palm oil free and now the option to indulge dairy-free’.

Golden North’s Simply Better range is now available in 1.2L tubs from Foodland, Drakes, Romeos, Chapley’s and other good independent supermarkets, the products bright green tub can’t be missed!
