Adelaide seems to be going mad for National Doughnut Day, and we’re all about that. With free doughnuts being offered across the city, it took a lot to distract us from the standard Homer Simpson variety of fried dough, but when we saw that CIBO were giving away free Zeppoles, we snapped to attention.
A Zeppole is an Italian pastry consisting of a deep-fried dough ball and an extra serving of deliciousness. Whatever CIBO do to their fabulous Zeppoles to make them so good, remains their secret, but we’re ok with that.
So here’s how to get one for free.
Each CIBO store in Adelaide has 100 freshly made Zeppoles to give away on Friday for National Doughnut Day. You’ll need to make a purchase in store to nab your freebie, but what’s a Zeppole without a hot coffee on a cold Winter morning, right? But of course, get in quick, as freebies don’t last, especially when Janet from Accounts finds out about it.
