Grab Your Blanket, Dancing Shoes And Swag For NEW Outdoor Music Festival

Summer is coming! Grab your tickets to this family friendly music festival set in a bush amphitheatre. It has good food, wine, sun and music. Need we say more?

An outdoor amphitheatre? Check. Good music? Check. Great vibes? Check. And most importantly: wine? Check.

The first weekend of summer is sorted, folks. Alma’s Hem Music Exhibition 2017 is the new outdoor music festival you need to get around! Think Porch Sessions, but out in a cool rural location where you can pitch a tent and camp (or perhaps glamp?) after a long day of dancin’. Awesome, we know.

Local singer/songwriter Kylie Kain is graciously opening the gate to her family’s property to host this summer’s sweetest music and camping experience located on the spectacular Ngarrindjeri country in Inman Valley. Hosting 6 bands and 2 dance troupes on stage and set in a creek bed amphitheatre, it’s sure to kick the warmer months off right.

There is an array of different artists and genres set to perform, featuring some of Australia’s most promising upcoming artists alongside more seasoned performers. Aussie rock legends, Dallas Frasca (with over 800 shows and 8 international tours this one is a real treat), hip-hop artist Koolta, Aussie born and Oklahoma raised Anabelle Kay, folk icons Junior, unique indie electronic artist Jasmine Iona (fresh out of school and on-route to big things!). Plus the Afro-Cuban rhythm of 9 piece, Ah Hum, embodying cultural diversity and speaking booty-shakin’ language and Ngarrindjeri dance troupe Tal-Kin-Jeri!

The festival will also feature local food and wine makers, art, children’s activities and a long table dinner to honour the simple joys of eating together (how sweet!).

Running 2:00pm – 11:00pm on Saturday 2 December and just an hour and a half out of the CBD this is the perfect way to kick start your summer!
