We all love to snap our lunch, coffee, our shoes standing on cool tiles, the changing autumn leaves, the green wall at Argo on The Parade, and well, pretty much anything that gives us fodder for our ever-growing Instagram obsession, and desire to populate our accounts with beautiful images from our daily lives.
While some people were born with a natural eye for photography, the rest of us resort to practicing like we’re back in the 90s and vying for the top score on Super Mario. Either way, your ability to pick up a phone, or a $20,000 Canon camera, is now your ticket to landing yourself an epic $1700 hamper of prizes, just in time for Mother’s Day. And if you’re feeling generous, you could even share your bounty with your mother dearest, and secure your position as Number 1 child in the family, which always has its benefits (for us its an invitation over for a lamb roast).
All you need to do, is hit The Parade and snap a snazzy shot of your favourite places/food/drink/products/experiences/views which you think your mother would appreciate in some way, and post it to Facebook/Twitter/Instagram using the #ParadeNorwood hashtag. Then make sure you follow The Parade on the medium you’re entering from (so if you’re on Instagram, follow @ParadeNorwood etc) and ensure your account or post is public so it can be entered into the comp. The winner will be chosen at random (as long as the pic meets the criteria), so it’s a great comp for both professional and amateur photographers. We don’t know about you, but it sounds like the perfect excuse to head to Norwood to eat and drink our way along The Parade….
