Frontier Touring has announced the return of GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams. She will headline The Secret of Us Tour in April and May 2025. The tour will feature major arena shows in five Australian cities. This series also includes her debut headline arena performance in Auckland, New Zealand.
Gracie Abrams has quickly become a significant figure in the international music scene, accumulating over seven billion streams globally. Her touring schedule begins with a sold-out 23-date run in North America. This tour celebrates her album, The Secret of Us, released in June. The announcement follows her highly successful first trip to Australia in January. During that visit, fans eagerly lined up and all six concerts sold rapidly after tickets were released.
The Secret of Us debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and #2 in New Zealand. It features the Platinum hit single ‘Close To You’ which marked Abrams’ solo debut on the Billboard Hot 100. On Spotify alone, it gathered three million streams on its first day. The new album also includes the song ‘us’, a collaboration with Taylor Swift. Abrams will join Swift as the opening act for the final dates of Swift’s Eras Tour in Canada and the USA this October.
The Secret of Us Tour hopes to replicate the fervour seen during Abrams’ previous shows in Australia and New Zealand. Fans are advised to act quickly to secure tickets due to the anticipated high demand. Tickets will go on sale on Friday 6 September.
Gracie Abrams first made her mark in 2019, establishing herself as a compelling modern singer-songwriter. She has attracted the admiration of peers like Taylor Swift, Lorde, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo. Abrams recently received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Inspired by Joni Mitchell, Abrams wrote her first song at age eight. She has since earned a devoted following with her emotionally intimate lyrics and DIY ethos. Her profile has risen steadily, helped by endorsements from influential music outlets. Abrams’ debut project, minor, received praise for its candid and intriguing songs of heartbreak. It was followed by her 12-track project This Is What It Feels Like, which explored complex emotional themes.
After completing a sold-out headlining North American tour for This Is What It Feels Like, Abrams debuted on Olivia Rodrigo’s tour. Her debut album Good Riddance launched in February 2023. A subsequent tour sold out within an hour. Abrams toured with Taylor Swift as the opening act on select dates of Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour. This support role will continue later this year.
