Graduating Students climb aboard the music industry train

Come and be inspired by the next wave of Adelaide music industry luminaries. Graduating from the first run of Music SA’s Certificate IV in Music Business course they bring to you an electrifying night of free music and a look into their future plans.

This fabulous evening will be held at the Wheatsheaf Hotel on Tuesday the 23rd of October. Guests on the evening will be entertained by acoustic performances from ‘Harmless Hunter’, ‘Stock Exchange’ and ‘All Year Round’. Doors at 6pm, music from 6.30 to 8.30pm.

Harmless Hunter are managed by Music SA student Sian Walden. Driven by harmonies and quirky lyrics, the brothers from Harmless Hunter set about telling stories from far flung places. They create a charming acoustic sound that is somehow both uplifting and relaxing.

Stock Exchange are a four piece indie/alternative band with a dark and and intriguing sound that always leaves an audience wanting more. Front man and student of
Music SA Richard Sallis’ deep, alluring vocals and the bands’ catchy melodies combine to make for a fascinating show.

All Year Round are managed by Music SA student Shannen Murphy. They are a five piece energetic pop punk band who light up the room with their catchy tunes and dynamic stage presence. Front woman Jacqueline has a strong, soulful voice which brings a unique and engaging sound to the band.

The Audreys’ front woman Taasha Coates, one of the tutors at Music SA, says “the course is an exciting development for the Adelaide music scene and I will watching the careers of this first batch of students with great interest.”

With this year slowly coming to and end, join us for a very interesting night to see what these talented students have accomplished in the last 12 months.
