Grenache Fest is coming to The Market Shed celebrating the best of SA red wine

On Saturday November 20, the Adelaide Wine Markets will offer tastings and sales from some of SA’s best small and boutique wine producers.

Celebrating all things red wine, Grenache Fest is coming to The Market Shed for another year on Saturday November 20.

Set to be a wholesome afternoon, the event hosted by Adelaide Wine Markets will give you a chance to explore some of South Australia’s best small and boutique wine, beer, cider and spirits producers.

From 5pm, there will be tastings on offer to keep you hydrated on all the best red wine as you make your way across the range of stalls.

Attendees will also be able to buy bottles directly from vendors to take home and enjoy later.

Much like previous sell-out iterations of Grenache Fest which first began in 2019, the event will be assembling a group of producers who will showcase their featured Grenache for tastings.

Your job as the taster is to take your glass to each stall and appreciate the flavours they unveil.

While the line-up is yet to be announced, stall holders in the past have included Brothers at War, Lost Wolf Wine Co., Whistler Wines, Rollick Wines and Grounded Cru.

Grenache Fest will have live music playing for visitors to enjoy as they speed date the glorious drinks on offer.

There will be gourmet food available for purchase too to soak up all that red!

Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite Grenache on the night to go in the draw to win a 6 pack.

Adelaide Wine Markets’ mission is the link wine, beer and spirit lovers with some of South Australia’s best small and boutique producers.

They connect consumers directly with the passion and lifestyle of those working in the wine industry. In doing this, Adelaide Wine Markets hope to create an environment where people can all enjoy the best that South Australia has to offer.

The Market Shed is located at 1 Holland St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia.

You can keep up to date with the event on Facebook.

Tickets for Grenache Fest are $39 and can be purchased here.
