Iconic Haigh’s Chocolates opens new CBD store

The iconic South Australian institution that is Haigh’s Chocolates has just announced their next store opening in Adelaide’s buzzing market district.

Haigh’s Chocolates has opened a brand new permanent location this in the iconic Adelaide Central Markets.

Located at 48 Gouger Street, close to the pedestrian crossing, the store will replace Haigh’s Chocolates existing Central Market Arcade store.

Doors officially opened Thursday 17 June, so its time to start writing up your choccy wish-list.

Haigh’s Chocolates Chief Executive, Alister Haigh said the new store, with its prime street front market location and quality fit-out, was bound to delight market shoppers and chocolate lovers.

“Following a strong 53 years of trade at the Central Market Arcade, we are excited for the next chapter as we open the doors of our new store at the entrance of this iconic food precinct,” Mr Haigh said.

“Haigh’s Chocolates new store promises to deliver first-class chocolate in our new first-class store,” Mr Haigh said.

Haigh’s Chocolates will celebrate the new store opening with an in store offer seeing customers who spend $50.00 or more at the Adelaide Central Market store on Thursday 17 June receiving a complimentary 200g packet of Milk or Dark Chocolate Speckles valued at $11.50.

The new store comes as an exciting opening for Haigh’s, who also has stores in Rundle Mall, the Adelaide Arcade, Burnside Village and Parkside, where they also offer fun tours to the public so you can see where all the magic is made.

Haigh’s Chocolates is a true South Aussie institution, with their first store opening all the way back in 1915. That store was their Rundle Mall location, with the iconic store still open to this day.
